Frequently Asked Questions

MGR Device

  • Please check the status light on the front of the device is solid green. If it is, please unplug the device from the power and then plug it back in
  • Please also check that the aux cable is plugged into the device and in the correct input on the back of your amplifier. Please also ensure that the amplifier is also on the correct setting.
  • The device is not connected to the internet properly. Please check the ethernet cable plugged into the device and the other end plugged into your internet router. If need be, try using replacing the ethernet cable.
  • If the problem is still happening, please refer to the network requirements document to ensure your internet is in accordance with the document.
  • Unplug the device and plug it back into power, if the issue continues a replacement is needed.
  • The device is not receiving any internet connection. Please double check the ethernet cable is connected to the internet and that the requirements in the network document are followed.
  • Scan the QR code on the top of the device. It will take you to a control page to change the playlist on the device.
  • Please note that when changing the playlist: it will take a little bit of time to change and will not change instantly.

Streaming

  • Check that internet is working, refresh the page and click play on the stream you want to play.
  • This is due to a drop of internet connectivity. Please ensure that your internet is working properly, and the speed of the internet is not dropping. You can check your speed at this website: speedtest.net
  • Check the volume on the device you are using to stream and check the volume of the stream, next to the play/stop button.
  • Please also check that the speaker or amplifier is on the right input and can output sound.
  • Please that the aux cable is not damaged and is plugged into the amplifier/speaker.
